Terms of use
DecRec is provided by Dank Tank, LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
- Use an email address you control and keep your credentials secure.
- Use the service lawfully, and only share content you have the right to share with your organization and with us.
- Organization members can see decisions, comments, evidence, and exploration results in that organization.
- Decision owners control review requests, exploration, commit, decline, and archive. Other members may comment, attach evidence, and revise unlocked briefs.
- The service is provided as-is. Features and limits may change. We may suspend access for misuse or security risk.
- AI output is decision support, not professional advice. You remain responsible for what you commit to.

Data & AI
What we store
- Account email and organization membership.
- Decision content: briefs, comments, reviews, exploration outputs, commitments, and related metadata.
- Evidence files you upload.
- Operational logs needed to run and secure the service.
Who can see it
- Members of your organization.
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts the product (auth, storage, email, and background processing).
- We do not sell your content. We access it only to operate, secure, and support the product.
AI
- Brief drafting and exploration send relevant decision content (and enabled attachments, for exploration) to Amazon Bedrock.
- Your content is not used to train our models. Under Bedrock’s API terms, prompts and outputs are not used to train base foundation models.
- Draft-a-brief is not saved until you create the decision. Exploration results are stored on the decision.
- Exploration is rate-limited per organization.
Email & retention
- We send transactional email for account confirmation, invites, and product notifications.
- Completed and archived decisions remain in your organization. Email hello@decrec.io to request account or organization deletion.
